What does it mean to believe the Bible literally?

Does a person need to be baptised in order to be saved?

Doctrines of Grace:
In 2 Thessalonians 2:11 it says God will send sinners a "strong delusion."
Why would God have to send a "delusion" if men have no freewill?
It appears to indicate that men must have a choice otherwise God would not have to fool them?

Exploring the Apologetics of Hugh Ross:
How can you deny the mountains of scientific evidence that points to the universe much older than 6,000 years old?
What about all the atheists who reject God and the bible because their secular intellect won't permit them to accept a religion that teaches a universe less than 6,000 years old? If they really are hostile to God, could it be because of an interpretation of creation based on assumptions that shoehorns 13.5 billion years into less than 6,000 years?

I am just starting a relationship with a girl who I have been friends with for a few years. How long would you suggest I be in the relationship before asking her to be my wife?
